High power, small size
Although Harting’s new 70A-rated industrial connector module has a high power rating, it is only half the size of the company’s existing 100A module.
Part of the Han-Modular connector range, this new module accommodates two power contacts with axial screw termination and is rated for voltages up to 1000V at 70A. The terminals suit wires from AWG 8 to 4 and termination requires no special tools — just a 2.5mm hexagonal key.
The device’s ‘finger-safe’ male contacts are protected by an additional plastic cap for safe connections in uses such as frequency converters, power ring circuits or battery charging circuits, where power could be present on both male and female sides of the connector.
The Han-Modular range allows users to assemble connectors to their own special design requirements and configuration.
