Ingersoll Rand has redesigned its established pneumatic half-inch square-drive Titanium Impact tool and brought about a ten per cent power increase, improved control and enhanced reliability.
The new 2135QPTiMAX delivers maximum power with 1,054NM of reverse torque and 1,486Nm of nut-busting torque, yet it weighs just 1.84kg.IR claims that the tool's twin-hammer mechanism delivers more power per kg, and is less sensitive to air pressure fluctuations, than any other design, while the use of Titanium for the hammer case reduces weight and provides ultimate durability and strength unmatched by any other material.
The feather-touch trigger and enhanced power regulator settings help operators ensure they don't over-torque critical joints.
