Cooljet BIE and Multijet BIF cutting torches from ESAB
New Cooljet BIE and Multijet BIF cutting torches from ESAB offer a solution for almost all oxy-fuel cutting jobs.
Higher cutting speeds, lower maintenance, longer life and greater safety are claimed for the Cooljet BIE. Suitable for all gas cutting machines, it gives better heat conductivity and more efficient mixture of cutting gases than previous units. During pre-heating, a Cool-flow valve allows a small amount of heating oxygen to flow into the cutting oxygen channel, stopping hot gases steaming back into the torch for more efficient cooling and no build-up of molten metal or spray.
Designed to cut material 3 to 300mm thick, Multijet BIF's automatic internal ignition provides much improved oxy-fuel cutting: internal ignition is also safer than conventional external ignition, says ESAB. Able to be retrofitted to existing ESAB machines, Multijet BIF can also be used for flame and cutting process control applications.
