Hot Air Applications from Welwyn Tool Co. Ltd

The new range of LHS hot air systems from Leister are designed with the ease of implementation as a key priority, enabling a fully operational hot air system to be installed with minimal time and effort. The control of temperature from a single point (either potentiometer, control panel, or PC/PLC 4/20mA system) now ensures that once installed, Leister LHS can be adjusted to meet different production line temperature requirements. Furthermore, protection against overheating is automatically built into LHS in the event of loss of air supply, ensuring that the heating element is protected against burning out. The LHS automatically resumes operation itself when the fault is resolved and raises an alarm in the event of a problem.

Leister boasts a full range of heaters, from 0.4 – 16.0 KW for a wide range of heat applications. All are available with single or three phase voltage. A n equally comprehensive range of control regulators completes the system options. New Drying Nozzles The latest addition to the comprehensive range of air blowers are the new drying nozzles designed for specialist blowing and drying applications in production line processes. Designed for use with blowers instead of compressed air, the nozzles ensure lower operating costs where surface drying is required. Designed to work in combination with the Leister Airpack blower system for blowing off excess water or dust debris post production, the new nozzles are the usual high quality expected from a Swiss manufacturer, with two nozzles available; 30cm and 50cm in length. The nozzles can be used with hot or cold air flow which can be adjusted for accuracy and to suit the application’s air flow and temperature requirements. The stainless steel versions ensure suitability for higher hygiene sensitive environments such as in the food manufacturing industries. Simple to install and incorporated within the production line, the nozzles can be brought into operation quick
