Floor for food plant
Working in partnership with contractor Protective Coating Systems of Chippenham, ARDEX has provided the ideal industrial flooring system for a 1100m2 extension project for Dormen Foods, supplier of snacks and nuts to top hotels.
The new washroom area received layer of ARDEX R 90 P Rake and Trowel Grade heavy-duty polyurethane screed, provided in cream as a four-component formulation in pre-measured packs for easy on-site mixing. The cured system forms a hard wearing, pigmented layer from 4 to 9mm thick.
Remaining floor areas were completed with ARDEX R 70 P medium-duty polyurethane screed in cream, which again offers the high performance and user-friendly benefits of R 90 P. When cured it provides a durable, pigmented layer of from 2 to 5mm.
To complete the system, R 10 P polyurethane coving and wall render was applied to the perimeter of the entire area.
