Invensys to build a portable Operator Training Simulator for BP Chemicals
Invensys Process Systems has been awarded a contract from BP Chemicals Limited to build an Operating Training Simulator to be used for the transfer of process knowledge to operators of their chemical manufacturing facilities.

Suitcase Simulator
The training simulator is designed to be a portable "suitcase simulator", so that the instruction can be conducted at any site around the world. The simulator can also be configured with the same "look and feel" interface for any of the major DCS vendors.
Plant operations and controls training
DYNSIMTM technology in the new OTS will allow BP to train operators on all aspects of plant operations and controls, as well as start-up, shutdown and emergency situation management of plants using their process technologies.
