Low-profile accelerometers from Kistler are for use in harsh, dirty or wet areas where space is at a premium, but where high temperature stability is essential.
Mounted by a single central hole, and with a side-mounted connector for 360deg. cable orientation, the device suits a wide range of product testing applications, including product qualification/acceptance testing and structural/vibro-acoustic and shock testing for lightweight structures.

At the heart of the unit is a shear cut PiezoStar grown crystal with integral impedance converter to give temperature stability within a -54 to +165°C operating range. This stability is supported by excellent signal quality from the integral ground isolation. A TEDS version simplifies installation and calibration but, where this is not required, a non-TEDS version may be specified.
