Sensor Technology has been providing customers with rotary torque measurement solutions for over 30 years, developing its own technology for the instrumentation and OEM markets.
Our digital 'RWT310/320 Series' torque sensors includes the latest non-contact TorqSense technology with integrated electronics. We also offer Optical and Strain Gauge technology torque transducers. TorqView, based on NI LabVIEW, is available as an easy to use Advanced Torque Monitoring software tool to assist data recording.
Customers can specify any full scale torque range, within the standard range, to optimise accuracy. Included within the purchase is a free calibration for the first year and a Lifetime Warranty.
With its own Research & Development, in-house calibration and production facilities, Sensor Technology is able to offer engineering support for those special demanding applications, calibration of its own transducers and some other manufacturers transducers and a unique rental service whereby customers can rent a transducer for a minimum of one month.
Sensor Technology's transducers use the following strain technology in their products:
Surface Acoustic Wave Technology (TorqSense). This technology is used in our standard TorqSense RWT310/320 Series rotary torque products for ranges 500mNm to 10,000Nm and is suitable and available for OEM applications.
Optical Technology. This technology is used in our standard E200 ORT Series rotary torque products for ranges 10mNm to 500Nm.
Strain Gauge Technology. This technology is used in our standard range of E100 SBT and E100 SIT Series reaction torque transducers for ranges 200mNm to 10,000Nm.
