igus' DryLin ZLW-06-03
Ideal for handling lightweight loads, the smaller version of the igus DryLin ZLW belt drive, the ZLW-06-03, weighs just 1kg and is just 1m long. It is fast running, yet practically silent.
Its sliding elements are made from igus’ igliudur J polymer, while the bearings are injection moulded from iglidur L250. Housing sections are of sturdy plastic and the profile from hard-coated aluminium. All the unit’s connecting screws are of stainless steel. A second version uses ball bearings for the deflection shafts, making higher traverse rates possible.
Apart from these bearings, the axis is completely maintenance- and lubrication-free due to the use of the iglidur high-performance polymers.
