Maximise laboratory productivity with new nitrogen generators
The Process Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin has launched a new range of nitrogen generators for use with sample concentrators and evaporators.
The NitroVap-1LV and NitroVap-2LV generators, which can either be wall or bench mounted, are able to maximise productivity by providing a constant supply of gas, thus eliminating downtime associated with conventional supply methods.
NitroVap is a non-electrical miniature membrane nitrogen generator. It produces over 350 ltr/m of pure evaporation grade nitrogen by using a combination of filtration and membrane separation technologies. This package requires less than one square foot of bench space and can supply over 100 evaporator nozzle positions.
Existing laboratory compressed air is filtered by high efficiency coalescing filters, which remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. Hollow fibre membranes separate the clean air into a concentrated nitrogen stream and oxygen enriched permeate stream, which is vented from the system.
