Beko installs the EVERDRY compressed air dryer at a chemical company in Olpe, Germany

Beko installs the Everdry for a large chemical companyAn Everdry dryer with a performance of 64,000 m³/h, which was ordered in spring 2007 by a large chemical company, it was delivered to the customer on schedule in December, and was installed by Christmas.

“The Everdry plant is the largest system for the drying of compressed air that has been ordered in Central Europe during the past five years”, reports Herbert Blauscheck, Manager of EverAir- the manufacturing division of BEKO-Everdry, on the occasion of the delivery of the dryer to the customer.

Seven heavy goods vehicles were necessary for the transport from the assembly hall near Olpe, Germany, to the final destination. What makes this major project so special is that the plant does not consist of two, but of three adsorption containers, of which two always dry the main stream of the compressed air in a parallel connection. The third container will be removed in turn from the main stream, regenerated and "re-armed" for the next drying cycle. Switching is performance-controlled and will take place at the earliest after four hours of operation.  Cost-effective technology: the Everdry plant utilises the exhaust heat of the compressors with a connected load of approx. 6,000 KW for regeneration. Otherwise, this energy would be lost. By using waste energy for drying compressed air, huge cost and carbon savings can be made. BEKO-Everdry specialise in this type of special project.
