Laminate Offers High Stability

A new epoxy glass fabric laminate from Tufnol, designated Grade 0G/48, is manufactured in an epoxy resin system specially formulated to produce a material with good dimensional stability and strength retention. This is further enhanced when subjected to temperatures up to 155°C.

Grade 10G/48 was developed in conjunction with a leading aircraft manufacturer to meet a specific composite processing requirement that demanded machined components with high flexural strengths at 150°C after conditioning in an oven temperature of 200°C for 100 hours.

It is available only as machined components produced to customer spec. characteristics and provide superior tactile response, making these new keyboards ideal for applications where large volumes of data are being entered.
