Transducer can cut cycle times
Stainless steel U93 force transducer from HBMreduces production cycle times in monitoring fitting processes such as stamping, riveting, clinching, or pressfitting. Its compact design and flange connections on both sides make it easy to install, particularly if space is limited.
For integration with process controls the U93 includes TEDS transducer i/d, allowing data to be automatically transferred to the process controller. When combined with the MP85A FASTpress, the U93 can control, record and evaluate processes at up to 300 fitting processes/minute.
HBM has also introduced its MP85A FASTpress Suite PC software that is matched to the amplifier and offers additional functions for control, evaluation, and analysis of process data. It comprises ‘EASYsetup’ for user administration, ‘EASYteach’ for process analysis, and ‘MP85A Toolkit’ for individual programming.
