Quantum X makes connection
The QuantumX universal amplifier from HBM offers eight connectors each of which independently recognizes and supports all current transducer technologies.
Integrated Advanced Plug & Measure technology reduces test setup configuration to a few minutes, while the compact design gives easy integration into test equipment if space is a constraint Each of the eight universal connectors on the device front supports data acquisition with 24-bit resolution.
The instrument is compatible with transducers based on a wide range of technologies such as strain gauge or inductive full and half bridge, voltage, current, thermocouples, resistance thermometers as well as frequency or pulse counting. Up to 128 CAN signals can be acquired on one connector.
Transducers with TEDS technology are automatically recognized as soon as they are connected, while transducers without TEDS are easily configured using the expandable sensor database.
The number of QuantumX channels can be individually increased to match the application, either as a compact bundle of devices joined together using Clip technology, or distributed via Ethernet or Firewire (in preparation) to PC.
