The BBA4x9 range of IP69K scales from Mettler Toledo are specifically designed for use in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. With an open platform and clean line design, the scales are easy to clean and free from product traps, preventing cross contamination of products. As the world’s first IP69K scale capable of withstanding high pressure hosing and steam jet cleaning, theunits are thought ideal for use in hygienically-sensitive areas and totally eliminate the risk of breakdowns caused by moisture ingress. The ColorWeight display is another unique feature, introduced to improve operator efficiency. The flexible and easy to configure display incorporates standard weighing with selectable Take Away functionality at the touch of a button. Constructed from stainless steel, and available in weighing ranges of 3kg to 600kg, all models are manufactured in accordance with strict EHEDG, HACCP and GMP requirements.
