Low-cost shear mode industrial accelerometers from PCB Piezotronics
PCB Piezotronics Limited offers a complete range of low-cost shear mode industrial accelerometers for permanent installation and 24/7 continuous on-line monitoring of critical machinery. The incorporation of shear mode design technology into all industrial vibration sensors, at no additional cost to the customer, provides offers greater durability and measurement stability, as compared to traditional compression mode designs. Even low-cost versions are fully case isolated with stainless steel construction, and hermetically sealed with an IP68 rating. Many models are submersible and chemically resistant. With a standard footprint at 50% the size of a conventional industrial accelerometer, these sensors may be conveniently installed in tight places. Also available are hazardous area approved (ATEX), 4-20 mA output sensors and DIN rail mounted ICP® to 4-20 mA transmitters. PCB® also offers a complete line of USB programmable smart vibration switches, signal conditioners and a selection of armoured and conventional cables, and a variety of mounting accessories, handheld calibrators and impact hammers.
