Actuators for automation
New Series QX range of linear actuators from Camozzi Pneumatics is aimed at automation applications requiring guided linear movement.
The double rod cylinder, with its integrated guides, facilitates a double force, non-rotating and precise movement from one compact unit. Units are available in a full range of piston diameters and each also offers a choice of guide versions: sintered bronze bushes or linear ball bearings, depending on the application in question.
Versatility of Series QX has been further increased with the existence of air ports on two sides of the cylinder body which provide engineers with a wider range of installation options.
The different mounting options, along with the compact dimensions and reduced weight, make the Series QX cylinders particularly suitable for use in robotic and pick and place systems.
The Series QX offers an economic and high-performance solution for many automation applications, says Camozzi, particularly when compared to the alternative of using conventional cylinders with external guides.
