Sensors with easy set-up
Equipped with safe class 2 lasers, new second generation OG sensors from ifm electronic come in a standard M18 housing and will detect objects as small as 0.5mm across, while the through-beam type will see as far as 60m. Set-up is easy: with a visible light spot and the new pushbutton setting method, the sensitivity and function can be set in next to no time.
The range covers powerful throughbeam systems, retroreflective types and background-suppressed diffuse to suit demanding applications often found in automated assembly.
All ifm’s new M18 sensors, laser and standard, feature a robust stainless-steel housing, standard M12 connector — and there’s a wide selection of accessories available to help fit, align and protect the sensors. ifm sensors for position and process control are complemented by a selection of connection possibilities, from connecting cable to AS-interface systems.
