Motor and motion control specialist Micromech chosen as TRINAMIC's UK partner
Motor and motion control specialist Micromech has been chosen as TRINAMIC's UK partner to distribute its integrated circuits, modules and mechatronic solutions to control small electrical motors.
Micromech were chosen to integrate TRINAMIC's products into customer's equipment thanks to its software and electronic design team.
Customers don't need in-depth knowledge about motors nor about DSPs or control circuitry in general, thus minimising design time and offering labour and cost savings.
The mechatronics approach – the integration of electronic control, system thinking and precision mechanical engineering achieves an optimal balance between the mechanical structure, the motor and its overall control. For example the patented stallGuardTM feature used in many products allows to reduce cost and to increase the reliability of the application offering an integrated stall and load detection without additional sensors.
The TRINAMIC Motion Control Modules and PANdrive mechatronic solutions combine a dedicated stepper or BLDC controller and driver with extensive experience in designing custom and off-the-shelf motion control solutions.
TMCL (Trinamic Motion Control Language) with the PC development environment makes for simple motion control, cutting six months off the time to bring to market compared to chip-level development.
