Coders integrate into production lines
Launch of the Scribing Laser range from Linx Printing Technologies aims to provide a cross-section of industries with laser coding that offers superior results with simple installation, use and ownership. The Linx SL101 and SL301 (10W and 30W power options) scribing lasers allow users to choose the system that best suits their own production line requirements.
The units are built to offer an easy fit into the productions line. The range of lenses and beam delivery options means they can be manoeuvred into tight spaces, while their plugandplay configuration makes installation into existing set-ups easy. A handheld control unit allows users to create, change and set up codes at the touch of a button. In addition, the LinxDraw PC software permits more complex code creation, including graphics and 2D codes.
New features include greater marking versatility, due to the use of a variety of beam delivery options for different spot sizes, product-to-lens distances and mark fields. The unit’s stainless steel housing is sealed to standard IP54 rating, with IP65 for wet areas an option.
