New multitone sounder launched
RTK Instruments has announced the launch of its DA132 Intrinsically Safe Multitone Sounder.
ATEX and IECEx certified to Ex II 1G Ex ia IIC T4, and with an output greater than 100dBA, this sounder is ideally suited for use in areas of high ambient noise. For extreme noise levels it can be linked with the DA135 Intrinsically Safe Beacon to combine audible and visual warnings.
The DA132 has a choice of 32 tones, including major international standards, all of which are selectable using a DIL switch. The unit is easy to install as all connections are made to the base; the sounder head ‘twists and clicks’ into the base on commissioning.
With the IP65 rugged housing, the DA132 can be used in the harsh environments of oil, gas and chemical industries.
