Aerospace Quality – Everyday Use – Elesa Self-Locking Pins
The KL range of aerospace specification ball lock pins from elesa are ideal for installation or workholding situations where especially strong holding forces are required, both axially and in shear. The KL Button or T handle pins are ideal for temporary holding of heavy workpieces or for installation of removable panels to ensure fast, precise positioning with positive location. Operation is by simple insertion of the Ball Lock Pin into a mating pair of holes, which serves to lock both components together, with removal just as quick.
GN Series Ball Lock Pins
The Elesa GN series of Ball Lock Pins was introduced to meet the needs of situations which require frequent rapid connection of parts, for installation, use or machining, and yet have only very restricted space available. Simple insertion of the Ball Lock Pin into a mating pair of holes, serves to lock both components together, with removal just as quick.
The range includes low cost versions with plastic pawl, and others with stainless ball operation, In particular, there is a short version with spring loaded shaft to provide an added clamping action which is especially useful for rapid fixing of two sheets of material. Custom applications include incorporating into other elements such as the centre boss of a handwheel to allow instant removal for security and for quick change operations.
Standard Closing Elements – Locks and Latches for all purposes
These items are for use in access panels, switchgear boxes, general enclosures, ancillary cabinets and electrical enclosures. The range includes IP65 and pad lockable varieties.
Elesa have now extended their stock/service package with this full range of ½ turn latches and handles covering the CX IP65 safety lock, CS/M T handle, CQ recessed key (triangular and double-bar types) as well as the standard 180° CS type. Many key types and closing levers are available to suit specialist enclosure requirements. Also, for wing knob operation the CM and CML (padlockable) are useful options.
