Gnostic64 ultra high speed contact measurement system now available from CentraTEQ

CentraTEQ has signed an agreement with Quality Electronics Design S.A. of Luxembourg to distribute its Gnostic64 ultra high speed contact measurement system in the UK and Ireland.

The system is designed to measure high speed electronic contact response to vibration and environmental testing in the laboratory. Originally driven by specifications within the Automotive industry this has now become a more widely specified requirement within all types of electronic equipment use.

The Gnostic64 contact measurement system offers 4 to 64 channels of real time measurement with a time resolution capability of 12.5 nano seconds. This allows it to measure even the slightest of micro contact interruptions during a vibration test.

Other features include:

• Analysis software suite
• COLA input to relate events to excitation frequency
• Built in current source for contact resistance measurement
• Trend recording of the contact resistance throughout the duration of the test
• Time signal recording of every event
• Built in signal conditioning
• An unique variety of trigger options with independent triggering on all parallel channels

The built-in signal conditioning can be bypassed so the standard voltage inputs can be used for any other type of measurement.
