Following the implementation of the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, machinery safety training specialist Pilz Automation has introduced a new course, while updating and adding to its existing range of machinery safety training courses.
Designated 'The New Machinery Directive', the course outlines how machine manufacturers and end users are affected by the changes of the new Directive.
The compliance process is described in detail, alongside essential health and safety requirements and new Standards including advice regarding EN 954-1 and EN ISO 13849-1.
Two types of courses are offered (one relating to regulations and standards, the other to Pilz machinery safety products):
